The Masque of the Red Death

A short adaptation of the Edgar Allen Poe tale

One of six short plays in the Raven about Poe collection.  Prince Prospero attempts to avoid a dangerous plague, known as the Red Death, by hiding in his palace. He, along with many other wealthy nobles, hosts a masquerade ball within seven rooms of the palace, each decorated with a different colour. In the midst of their revelry, a mysterious figure disguised as a Red Death victim enters and makes his way through each of the rooms.  What will be the fate of Prince Prospero?

Cast: 5 actors with 2M, 1F and 2 either. Run-time : approx 12 minutes.
