It's Kameelah's first day at The Perfect Elementary School. Looking for a best friend, she tries various cliques such as the group of people who like green, those who like baseball and those who love to read. Whilst she likes all of these things, she realises she doesn't just want to belong to one group and so, realises that it's better to have different friends for different interests - it's in the differences that we grow and learn from each other.
The Perfect BFF is a 30 minute musical suitable for ages 7 to 12 years.
Three versions of the script are supplied for class sizes of 15, 20 and 30 pupils/students of any gender.
The musical has six original contemporary-style pop songs each supplied as a backing track (for performance) and a version with guide vocals to help students learn the words and melody.
Cast: 15, 20 or 30 actors, all any gender. Run-time : approx 30 minutes.
