In Geoffrey Chaucer's prologue to his famous 14th century long narrative poem 'The Canterbury Tales', he wonderfully describes the twenty nine pilgrims gathering 'At The Tabard Inn', London, prior to their pilgrimage to Canterbury. This new adaptation of his rarely performed prologue, brings the colourful characters to light, with all their quirks and foibles; with additional characters, shared narration, mimed cameos, songs of the period, and a Morris dance by the Wife of Bath with her five dead husbands!
'At the Tabard Inn' is a full length drama in two acts.
