Phil has turned his talents back to writing scripts, books and short stories, following a successful career as a journalist, documentary maker and reporter with both the BBC and ITV. As a former newsreader he is also available for voice overs.

He was one of the writing team on the hit BBC comedy sketch show The Naked Video. He has two children's books published "The Little Blue Boat and the Secret of the Broads!" and "The Little Blue Boat and the Marsh Man's Gold!" . These have been nominated for an award, produced as a play and performed at theatres and the Latitude Festival. Phil was recently shortlisted for an international short story award and is currently writing adventure thriller novels.
