Five short plays set during World War I. Two women want to join a bowls club whilst the men are away at war, a drunk tries to convince a policeman he's just seen a Zeppelin, a dying woman gets her last wish as her son returns home, a man brandished a coward has a quite different backstory and four short monologues remember the heroes.

The plays can be performed individually or as a collection. The plays are between ten and twenty minutes long.

Cast: 4 actors with 2F, 2M

(can accommodate 15 actors with minimum 2F and 2M)

Run-time : approx 77 minutes (if all five plays are performed).
